Cross X Roads provides daily one way transport to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing from Ketetahi Car Park as well as overnight stays at Lake Rotoaira less than 7km from Ketetahi Car Park.
If you have your own vehicle and want more flexibility and low cost transport, this option allows you to park your vehicle at the Ketetahi Car Park and catch our one way shuttle service to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo so that your vehicle is at the end of the track waiting for you when you complete the walk.
Our drivers are local, our vehicles are safe and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to park your vehicle overnight, we would be delighted to host you at Cross X Roads, where you can take in the panoramic views of Tongariro National Park and enjoy a safe overnight stay before and after you embark on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Over night stays at Cross X Roads - the closest to the Ketetahi Carpark - only 6.8kms or 7 minutes to be exact. The panoramic views of the mountains from the paddock are the best there are and most nights will see campers sitting out in the serene surroundings with refreshments and cameras...seriously!
