Depart the Tongariro Crossing Carpark at 2.30am for drop off at Mangetepopo at 3am.
$120 per person (for 2 people)

Catch the sunrise!
An extra special opportunity to experience the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at sunrise. This option departs Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park at 2.30am for a 3am drop off at Mangatepopo.
One-way shuttle service from Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo. This option allows you to park your vehicle at the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park and catch our one way shuttle service to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo so that your vehicle is at the end of the track waiting for you when you complete the walk.
2 or more people will only pay $120 each
$250 for an individual on their own.

Total cost includes the Department of Conservation Visitor Community Contribution fee.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for this trek.
After booking your shuttle with us, it is recommended that you go to the DOC website www.doc.govt.nz to book any part of the Tongariro Crossing. THIS IS FREE TO BOOK.

The closest overnight parking & camping to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Carpark
Overnight stays at Rotoaira - the closest to the Ketetahi Carpark - only 6.8kms or 7 minutes to be exact.
Price per night per vehicle (regardless of the number of people). Tents also welcome. If you don’t have a vehicle and only require space for your tent, please select the ‘Tent Only’ option under ‘number of vehicles’ which is $10 per night.

This transport is a one way shuttle service from Tongariro Crossing Car Park to Mangatepopo
Our one way Shuttle Service is a convenient and hassle free option. You simply drive and park your vehicle at the Secure Day Park where we then transport you to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. More flexibility, walk at your own pace, in your own time with no stress

Tickets are single use (no multi-ride tickets) & non-refundable.
Unused tickets are not transferable.
Passengers need to be of an age 7+.
Passengers aged 16 years or under must be accompanied by an adult.

Depart at 2.30am for drop off at Mangetepopo at 3am.
No need to be time-pressured into rushing to catch a return shuttle.
The carpark closes at 7pm giving you ample time to walk the track and back to your vehicle.
