One Way Shuttle Service from Ketetahi Car Park to Mangatepopo
The Cross X Roads Tongariro Alpine Crossing Shuttle Service is a one way service transporting you to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Track at Mangatepopo from either the Cross X Roads Gate (less than 7km from Ketetahi Car Park) or the Tongariro Transport Hub (1km from the end of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing track). Our one way service is a convenient option removing any time pressure to complete your hike by a certain time to catch a return shuttle, just walk an extra 10mins to the Tongariro Transport Hub Ketetahi Car Park and your vehicle.

If you are staying at Cross X Roads overnight meet at the front gate of Cross X Roads at either 4.45am, 5.45am or 6.45am (other times available on request). You will follow us to the Ketetahi Car Park where you vehicle will be parked securely for the day.
From Tongariro TranSport Hub at Ketetahi Car Park
Lake Rotoaira Road, Otukou 3382
No need to be time-pressured into being at the end of the hike to catch a return shuttle, just walk an extra 10 mins to our carpark and your vehicle. Shuttles depart from the carpark every hour from 5.00am to 10.00am daily. The Car Park closes at 7pm, ample time to walk the Track and back to your vehicle.
