Our one way Shuttle Service is a convenient and hassle free option. You simply drive and park your vehicle at the Secure Day Park where we then transport you to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

For an extra charge ($100pp - min of 2 pax) one of our more popular options is a sunrise hike. Beat the crowds & the heat. Depart Tongariro Crossing Carpark at 3am. Discount can be applied for groups of 3 or more people.

No need to be time-pressured into rushing to catch a return shuttle. Shuttles depart from the secure day park every hour from 6.00am.
The carpark closes at 7pm giving you ample time to walk the track and back to your vehicle.

One-way shuttle service from Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo. If you have your own vehicle and want more flexibility and low cost transport, this option allows you to park your vehicle at the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park and catch our one way shuttle service to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo so that your vehicle is at the end of the track waiting for you when you complete the walk.
NOTE:
Before you consider booking. We have a minimum of two passengers. We do not offer bookings for one person for the One-way shuttles.
Total cost includes the Department of Conservation Visitor Community Contribution fee.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for this trek.
After booking your shuttle with us, it is recommended that you go to the DOC website www.doc.govt.nz to book any part of the Tongariro Crossing. THIS IS FREE TO BOOK.

Tickets are single use (no multi-ride tickets) & non-refundable.
Unused tickets are not transferable.
Passengers need to be aged 8 years or older.
Passengers aged 16 years or under must be accompanied by an adult.
