One-way shuttle service from Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo. If you have your own vehicle and want more flexibility and low cost transport, this option allows you to park your vehicle at the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Car Park and catch our one way shuttle service to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo so that your vehicle is at the end of the track waiting for you when you complete the walk.
Individual (including children) $65 per person
Family (x2 adults and x2children up to 16 years) $240
NOTES:
If you are booking AFTER 7pm for the following day, please call +64 2102722828 to confirm transport will be operating. We cannot guarantee availability if you do not contact us as requested.
If you are a solo hiker and you book at a time where we have no other passengers, you may be moved to a different time, please ensure we are provided with a valid contact phone number.
Your vehicle registration number is required and will be asked during the booking process. If it is not known at the time of booking due to it being a rental, please email us when you have collected the vehicle.
Total cost includes the Department of Conservation Visitor Community Contribution fee.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for this trek.
After booking your shuttle with us, it is recommended that you go to the DOC website www.doc.govt.nz to book any part of the Tongariro Crossing. THIS IS FREE TO BOOK.
